Food Contact Bag Compound (Compostable, FDA)
An FDA-compliant compostable pellet compound for producing food bags on a blown film line, for packers moving away from conventional polyethylene bags. It runs on existing equipment, so switching is a resin change rather than a capital project.
Compostable Cling Film Compound (FDA)
An FDA-compliant compostable compound for cling film, formulated to actually cling, which is the property most compostable wrap alternatives fail on. Supplied as a pellet compound for blown film production.
Compostable Cutlery Compound (FDA, 85C)
An FDA-compliant compostable compound for disposable cutlery, mineral-filled and rated to 85C so a fork does not soften in hot food, the standard complaint about compostable cutlery. The filler also gives a knife the stiffness to cut.
Compostable Tableware Compound (FDA)
An FDA-compliant compostable compound for moulded plates, bowls and cups, formulated to fill a large thin part cleanly. It is a cold and ambient grade, rigid enough that a loaded plate does not flex in the hand.
Compostable Chopstick Compound (FDA)
An FDA-compliant compostable compound for moulded chopsticks, as an alternative to both moulded polystyrene and single-use timber. It moulds a pair rigid enough not to flex when lifting food, with the surface finish the format needs.
Compostable Coffee Capsule Compound (FDA, 95C)
An FDA-compliant compostable compound rated to 95C for single-serve coffee capsules, which face near-boiling water under pressure. The capsule has to hold both its shape and its seal throughout the extraction.
Compostable Chilled Food Container Compound (FDA)
An FDA-compliant compostable compound for rigid chilled food packs, formulated to keep its impact strength at refrigerated temperature. Freed from any heat requirement, it optimises instead for clarity and stiffness.
Compostable Hot Food Container Compound (FDA, 80C, Microwaveable)
An FDA-compliant compostable injection moulding compound rated to 80C and microwaveable, for hot food packs and reheatable ready meals. The rating covers the container itself; film lidding is specified separately.
Compostable Chilled Tray Compound (Thermoforming, FDA)
A compostable thermoforming compound for chilled food trays, supplied FDA compliant for food contact. It is formulated to draw evenly, so the sheet does not thin out in the deep corners where a tray normally fails.
Compostable Hot Tray Compound (Thermoforming, 80C, Microwaveable, FDA)
The heat-resistant compostable thermoforming grade, rated to 80C and microwaveable, supplied FDA compliant for food contact. It is the tray material for ready meals that are filled hot or reheated by the consumer.
Compostable Cold Drink Straw Compound (FDA)
A pure PLA extrusion grade for cold drink straws, supplied as a pellet compound and FDA compliant for food contact. Unlike paper, a polymer straw stays rigid for the whole serving instead of collapsing partway through the drink.
Compostable Hot Drink Straw Compound (FDA, 80C)
A heat-modified compostable straw compound rated to 80C, supplied as a pellet compound and FDA compliant for food contact. It holds its stiffness in coffee and tea, where an unmodified compostable straw would soften.
Compostable Paper Coating Resin
A compostable coating resin for paper cups, board and food wrap, replacing the polyethylene layer that makes coated board hard to recycle or compost. Supplied as a pellet compound for extrusion coating and lamination.
