它作为配料销售，用于食品补充剂和运动营养产品，可为完整颗粒，也可研磨后用于混合料和胶囊。标准供应为混合花源花粉；向日葵花粉和油菜花粉也可作为单一花源批次供应，其规格询价时确认。
该证书报告的是单一批次的结果而非限值，因此约定的规格在询价时确定。蜂花粉属于动物源性食品：进口至英国和欧盟必须符合针对蜂产品的官方控制要求，且每一批次都应提供兽药残留（如氯霉素和硝基呋喃类）的定量结果。买家还应确认该批次供人类食用，并适合其产品。
